Is LinkedIn Appointment Setting Right for Your Business?
Your industry isn't the test. Four plain questions are.
LinkedIn appointment setting fits an owner-led business that sells a real service to other businesses, can close a deal on a call, and has someone to take the calls that book. If you sell to consumers, or nobody has time for sales calls, it's the wrong channel.
Before I take someone on, I want to know whether this will work for them. If it won't, I'd rather say so on the first call than after they've paid.
Your industry isn't how I decide. Four plain questions are.
The four-question fit check
1. Do you sell a real service to other businesses? The owner-led companies this fits are usually 11 to 50 people and sell to other businesses. If you sell to consumers, LinkedIn is the wrong channel and I'll tell you that.
2. Can you close a deal on a call? I can book the meeting. I can't close it for you. Someone on your side has to be the person who turns a conversation into a client.
3. Can you or your team take the calls that book? The calls land on your calendar. If nobody has time to take sales calls, the calendar fills and nothing happens with it.
4. Can you service the new clients you win? A jump in new business that's more than you can handle isn't a win. It's a service problem you paid to create.
Where it doesn't fit
Two more cases, and they're about what you want rather than what you sell.
If you want to run the outreach yourself, this isn't it. I run it. If you want a list of leads to work yourself, this isn't it either. The list was never the hard part, and I can build yours in an afternoon. What I'm selling is the outreach, the follow-up and the booked calls.
Does my industry matter?
Not as the test. An owner-led firm in construction, real estate, financial services, professional services, defense contracting or healthcare passes or fails on the same four questions. If you're in a regulated field, I build the whole thing inside the tools you already trust.
If you aren't sure
Book the free discovery call. You tell me what you sell and who you want in front of. If it isn't a fit, I'll say so.
If it is, the next step is a paid audit, credited against your build fee. We count your target pool and set your target in writing before anything else happens. You can see the whole process on the LinkedIn appointment setting page, and the ideas behind a good target market in More Leads, Or Better Leads?
Common questions
What size business is LinkedIn appointment setting for?
Owner-led businesses, usually 11 to 50 people, that sell a real service to other businesses and can close on a call.
Can I use it if I sell to consumers?
No. If you sell to consumers, LinkedIn outreach is the wrong channel, and I'll tell you that on the discovery call.
How do I find out whether it fits my business?
Book the free discovery call and tell me what you sell and who you want in front of. If it isn't a fit, I'll say so.

You record a short video for each person on your list, at a pace we set on your audit call. I build the list, write every script, and run the outreach and follow-up, and the interested ones land on your calendar. We set your target in writing at the audit. If I miss it, I keep working free for up to 30 more days, and the second half of your fee never comes due. Book a call and I'll show you how it works for your business.
